I have been planing on having a personal blog for long now, and today is the day. Thanks to django i had fun building this website.

For an inspiration i used the free source of the django project lost-theories.com and kept the base columns agencement, design took the longest time so far.

What will you find here ?

  • Interesting news gathered around.
  • Tips and tricks.
  • The main projects i have been working on.

What wont you find here ?

  • Entries where i ll describe my yesterday dinner.

Left to do

  • rss
  • favorite links
  • language support

As you may have realised it is called coulix.org and its a coulix.net which appears in your browser :/, Thats what happens when i recquested the domain with company A, but hosted with company B i will try to look for a solution maybe a simple redirection will do.

wow, it looks more professional with "about me" and more comments. I like the intro part but I dont want you to look too attractive to other people. :)

Seems to me that Jeff Croft's lost-theories.com was highly inspired by your site's innovative design. Or is the other way 'round? ;)

Jeff: the design doesn't seem that close to me. Basically only the base layout is the same. And you certainly can't blame him for using the same layout can you ?

I'am a bit disappointed to read Jeff's comment. Sure the two websites have similar web design. But this could have been a private message rather than a public comment. Anyway thanks Jeff for sharing your Django knowledge, and thank you coulix for those python/django tips.

Jeff: you can't decently think about a copyrighted layout can you ? This is nothing more than a central column with a right align top menu after all ! Imagine if the first guy having used a three column layout had considered it "copyrighted" ... I think you should be proud that someone created a derivative word based on yours. Of course, this is only my humble opinion and was probably not even worth reading.
